01 Alterations, Hems, Dressmaking & Soft Furishing made to measure

 

I provide all sorts of alterations in clothing for Ladies, Gents & Children. I also shorten curtains as well as replace linings of jackets. Shorten sleeves etc.

I am a seamstress and can make you that bespoke outfit for that special ocassion, this way you know that your outfit won't end up at the same event and is your own design & colour choice, bespoke to yourself. 

I don't just shorten curtains etc. I make from scratch and provide images of fabrics i can buy from the Market supplier Mario or you can supply your own. What ever your prefer. I provide a measuring service and fitting of curtains when completed. If you require.

02 Tartan Designer

 

Recently i was comissioned to design a fabric for the very well known Garner Family of Sun Sea and Selling Houses that is now on it's 4th Series on Channel 4 being filmed at the moment. Sharon and Steve Garner really wanted to use a beautiful fabric for all the staff that work in their 4 Spanish Property Choice Agencies around Almeria. The men wear waistcoats and Sharon felt that the colour and look of them needed some updating, so that is where i came in to play as they say. 

Sharon knew my love of Tartan and thought that a Tartan fabric might be nice, but one that wasn't too busy. 

I explained to Sharon that i could design her own Garner Tartan if there wasn't one on the offical Tartan website. 

There wasn't one after checking , so i set about for many hours trying out difference designs and colours as part of Sharons choice. The design really needed to be fairly plain as the men wouldn't wear anything that was too fussy and too large a design. 

I managed to narrow down the final choice from 10 designs i did for Sharon and Steve. 

After considering all the designs Sharon and Steve made their final decision on the one in the video. As you can see the men are looking fab and very proud to wear their own Garner Tartan, quite an achievement for Sharon and Steve.

03 Zippers & Buttons

 

If you require a large zip replaced on a particular jacket. I have industrial machinery that can fit these very difficult zips. However, metal zips are quite time consuming but worth replacing for that special zipped jacket. 

I can also add extra button holes for coates, shirts etc. 

As well as adding to lovely cushions as part of the design. 

04 Celtic Art Design & Irish Dance Costumes

 

Celtic Art Design was very much part of what i designed for my Irish Dance Costumes but Celtic Art Designs can be incorporated into many different types of garments ie clothing, cushions, wall art, wedding dresses. I don't have a need to make Irish Dresses now with living in Spain, however i am very keen to include my designs in soon to be garments. 

05 Oil, Water, Acrylic Painting

 

I have a small selection of Original Oil, Water Colour & Acrylic Paintings done by myself and if you would like a print or commission me to do a painting for you, then please just email me to discuss further.
